Tinubu’s Government Harbors More Dangerous Cabal Than Buhari’s, Says Solomon Dalung

Former Minister of Youth and Sports Solomon Dalung has made some serious allegations against the current administration of President Bola Tinubu. According to Dalung, the present government has a more sophisticated and dangerous cabal compared to the previous government.

In an interview with journalist Seun Okinbaloye on the podcast ‘Mic On’, Dalung claimed that these influential individuals deliberately keep President Tinubu uninformed about critical national issues and filter information reaching him.

“Tinubu has the most sophisticated cabal, worse than Buhari,” Dalung stated. He differentiated between the two administrations, describing Buhari’s cabal as “uninformed” and primarily motivated by personal gain, while characterizing Tinubu’s cabal as long-standing power brokers who are more strategic and informed.

“Buhari’s cabal was a group of uninformed people with little experience, that was why they were dipping their hands in everything that was available, but Tinubu’s cabal is a sophisticated group of people who have been long in power, they know power, and they are also informed. So they are more dangerous than any other cabal that I’ve ever known and seen.”He said.

Drawing from his personal experience in Buhari’s government, Dalung recalled instances where critical information about national security was deliberately withheld from the president.

The former minister said that Tinubu’s cabal members are more dangerous because of their extended political experience and sophisticated understanding of power dynamics.

Dalung, who was removed from Buhari’s government after the first term, expressed no fear of repercussions, citing that he has already survived ten alleged assassination attempts.
